Components of Transformer

Core is Made from Best Grade Imported Cold Rolled Grain Oriented Silicon Steel Laminations (CRGO) with the Latest Technique of Annealing, Interleaved and Mirid Joints that Reduce the Core Loss and Magnetizing Current. Core is Specially Designed to Sustain Over Flux Up to 12.5%. Individual Stamping is Insulated On Both Side with Oil Resistant and Temperature Resistant Insulating Material. Core is Clamped with Steel Channels Rigidly to Reduce the Sound Level, Earthen with Electrical Grade Copper Sheet Which Reduces the Iron Loss and Magnetizing Current.

The Winding Can Be of Any Type (i) Spiral (ii) Crosscover (iii) Helical (iv) Disc, Designed to withstand the Optimum Electrical, Mechanical, Dynamic and Thermal Stresses Depending Upon the Current and Voltage. the Coils are Wound with Electrolytic Grade with High Conductivity, annealed Wires and Strips Covered with High Quality Insulation. all Cols are Reinforced, insulated and Impregnated with Insulating Varnish to with Stand the Effect of Short Circuits and Impulse Voltage Shocks. Tank Construction Tank is Fabricated from Mild Steel Which is Electrically Welded, White Cooling Radiators are welded or Detachable Depending On the Size of the Transformers. the Cooling Radiators are of pressed Steel. all Tank are Pressure Tested Before Leaving the Fabrication Shop of the Factory. The Radiators are Well Designed to Withstand Against High Temprature and this Helps the transformer to Work Easily At High Temprature.

Insulation and Oil The Insulation Material like Pre-compressed Boards, Blocks, Corrugated Cylinders, Bakelite Tubes, Insulating Tapes, Empire Sleeves, Glass Sleeves Varnish, Epoxy Bushing, Porcelain bushing Etc. are Used of Best Quality to Ensure Long Life of the Transformers. Oil is Used of best Quality Conforming to IS : 335. Before Filling in to the Transformers, Oil is Centifuged, degydrated and Filtered Through 'Stream Line Filteration Plant' and Tested to Ensure Free from moisture. Painting Tank is Galvanized & Painted with Caots of Red Oxide Paint.
